Where are our parts manufactured?
At Hortense, we made a clear choice from the start: to produce in Europe. Not because it's trendy, but because we believe in it. Because Made in Europe is, above all, a guarantee of more responsible, more transparent, and more local production.
Manufacturing in Europe means being able to work with human-sized workshops, getting to know the teams, understanding their methods, and exchanging directly with those who bring our ideas to life.
It also means supporting unique skills, inherited from long textile traditions, and preserving a quality that we cannot find elsewhere.
Of course, we prioritize France whenever possible, because nothing can ever replace the proximity and trust of a local partner. But Europe is full of specialists, each an expert in their field, and we want to surround ourselves with the best.
